Fresh Controls, Better UX, and Community Power

Hey WinUI developers! WinUI Gallery 2.7 just dropped, and it’s looking shinier than ever. If you don’t know, the Gallery is the place to explore controls, samples, design guidance, and handy tools.

And yes… I may or may not have my fingerprints on this release 😎. (Big thanks to the maintainers for actually merging my PRs and not ghosting me like the most of my job applications.)

Highlights

• Sample history & favorites, finally keep track of what you clicked!
• StoragePicker with Windows App SDK 1.8, refreshed samples and full-admin support.
• ThemeShadow sample.
• Fresh built-in styles.
• 100+ PRs merged: bug fixes, accessibility wins, style polish, enum love, and smoother UX, thanks to an army of community contributors.

Final Thoughts

WinUI Gallery 2.7 is packed with polish, new samples, and community power. Proud to have contributed, and I’ll be back with more PRs (probably after too much tea ).
